Focus Trainer is designed to help you improve your attention span by training your brain to concentrate on a single task. Using the app is simple, but the effects can be profound when practiced regularly. Here’s how to get started:
To begin, enter the number of intervals you’d like to complete. Each interval lasts 10 seconds, so we recommend starting with a 10 to 15-minute session daily. This consistent practice will build your focus over time.
Our app uses advanced eye-tracking technology through your device's camera to monitor your focus. The system ensures that you stay engaged by pausing the countdown if you look away from the screen. When you start, your browser will ask for permission to access your camera—don’t worry, we only use it to track your eye movements during the session, and no data is stored. Before starting your session, you’ll have the option to calibrate the eye tracker for accuracy.
Calibration is essential for ensuring that the eye-tracking system works accurately for you. During calibration, you’ll be prompted to look at specific points on the screen, and the app will measure where your eyes are focused. This helps to personalize the tracking experience, ensuring optimal performance during your session.
For the best results, find a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted or distracted. Training your focus is already a challenging task—removing external distractions makes the process smoother and more effective. Aim to spend 10 to 15 minutes a day on your training, and you’ll start seeing improvements in your attention span over time.
If you’re new to focus training, it might feel difficult at first. That’s completely normal! Just remember that each session helps you build mental endurance, even if it seems small. Stick with it, and you’ll notice that your ability to focus improves in your daily life.
